Common questions
What are the main types of search intent?
The common model uses informational, commercial investigation, transactional and navigational intent, with local intent as a frequent addition. Google does not publish a fixed list, so use the categories as a working tool and confirm against the results.
Can one page target more than one intent?
Sometimes, when the results themselves are mixed and a page can serve both without becoming unfocused. Otherwise it is cleaner to use separate pages that link to each other.
